Polymarket bettors currently see a 47% chance of a US recession in 2025. Bettors have bid up chances of a recession significantly over the last month, with chances going from roughly 22% in February to just under 50% in early April. The odds increase can likely be attributed to new global tariffs imposed by the US Government in response to tariffs imposed by other countries.

Kavita Gupta, General Partner at Delta Blockchain Fund predicted 125-130 bitcoin and eth up to 4500 based on fundamentals. Gupta was important to caution, however, that without retail, institutional interest in crypto will only take us so far.

Crypto markets pulled back slightly early Friday before open. Berachain remains an exception as the token gave back some of its recent gains but remains up 1% overnight and just under 30% on the week.

Berachain and Sui have led gainers in the crypto markets over the last 24 hours. Berachain is up 12.4% over 24 hours and 41% over the last 7 days. Sui, on the other hand, is up 9.9% over 24 hours and 17.1% over the last week as crypto markets recover following recent moves down.
